  Yes. All applicants will be required to pass an identity verification and sanctions screening process if selected to receive a grant. This information is collected at the beginning of the application process. Please make sure this information is accurate to prevent delays in the grant funds distribution.

General

• How do we submit a grant application?

  
  Fill out the form on https://suifoundation.org/#grants

• Can anyone apply?

  
  Yes anyone can apply, however if you are selected to receive a grant you must pass a KYC/KYB compliance check to be eligible.

• How much can I ask for?

  
  The Foundation will distribute grants in the range $10k - $100k.

• What is the grant application process?

  
  Once you submit your application, your proposal will go through a pre-screening process to ensure your application is clear and complete.
  
  Next, your application will be evaluated by the Grant Review Committee, initially comprised of Mysten Labs and Sui Foundation representatives from varied backgrounds and disciplines.
  
  After that, selected applications will go to the Sui Foundation for final review & approval.Upon Foundation approval, our AML and sanctions checks will be performed, and a grant agreement will be drafted and sent to the recipients, who then must sign and return to receive the initial grant disbursement.
  
  Then, you will be ready to start your project!

• What types of projects does SUI aim to fund through the grant program?

• How will applications be evaluated?

  
  Applications will be reviewed by a small committee who will score the proposed project on the following criteria: Originality, Technical Design, Usability, Business Model, Practicality, and Community.
  
  We are aiming for innovative ideas that haven’t been forked and implemented on every blockchain to date. We are especially interested in proposals that represent a significant contribution to the broader Sui community.

• Can I use a developer grant to fund my startup?

  
  These grants are meant for small teams and individual developers who need a small check to help them launch. It is not intended to replace or augment a fundraising round.

Application process

• Where do I go for support?

  
  The #Dev-Grant-Chat channel in the Sui Discord server is a great place to ask questions and request support.

• After submitting my application, when can I expect to hear back from you?

  
  We will try to get back to everyone who submits an application within 3-4 weeks! Depending on the number of completed applications this could take a little longer.

After approval

• Can I list Sui as a partner?

  
  No, you can tell everyone you have received a grant but please do not list Sui as an official partner unless given explicit permission to do so.

• Can you help me advertise my project?

  
  In the future we may have a formal program around this, but we do not have one at this time.

• What happens once I start my grant?

  
  You start building and let us know when you have finished the agreed upon milestone(s) and we will follow-up for review and next steps.

• When and how are grants paid out?

  
  Initial funds will be disbursed within a few days of committee and board approval and receiving the signed grant agreement. You must have also fulfilled any information requests related to KYC/KYB requirements, and passed applicable money laundering, sanctions screening, and terrorist financing compliance checks.
  
  The remaining funds and potentially additional rewards will be given upon review of the agreed upon milestone(s).

Community Access Program

• What is the SUI Token Community Access Program?

  
  The Sui Foundation designed the SUI Token Community Access Program to enable Sui community members to purchase SUI tokens in the early phases of the network's lifespan. As part of the program, SUI tokens will also be available to people who help test Sui applications or promote Sui adoption during various stages on the Sui network prior to Mainnet.

• How can I get into the SUI Token Community Access Program?

  
  The Community Access Program will let Sui community members obtain SUI directly. The Program will also support community members who have contributed in improving the adoption, stability, security, and reliability of the Sui ecosystem during the Devnet and Testnet phases.

• What happens once I start my grant?
